Free Easter Bunny Tracker: Watch ‘eggciting’ trek around the world in real time

Whether you are planning an elaborate feast or intimate family get-together, one of the most beloved holidays of the year is almost here. Hip hop hooray! April 16, 2017, is Easter and children around the world are anxiously awaiting the arrival of one of the most popular characters in the land. In just a few hours, a very special bunny will soon be hopping into your neck-of-the-woods.

After preparing all year long, the Easter Bunny is getting ready for his annual trek around the world. Experts estimate the famous hare, believed to be a male named Peter, was born in Germany and is somewhere between 523 and 539 years old. Unlike Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny does not have any elves, helpers and does not have a sleigh pulled by fabulous reindeer or type of vehicle to hold the Easter stash. While he lives in a top secret location on Easter Island, he starts his annual journey on Christmas Island and ends the trip on Pago Pago.

Just in case you are wondering where he is, the free Easter Bunny Tracker allows folks of all ages from near and far to watch the bunny’s journey in real time. And the journey has begun! Tracking officially kicks off on Easter Eve.
