If the old taste buds are screaming for a treat to eat, you’re in luck. March 4 is National Snack Day in the U.S.A, an annual food holiday created by snack-lover extraordinaire, the Queen of Holidays. Whether you prefer chips and dip, a few scoops of cool and creamy ice cream on a warm slice of pie, something hot-and-spicy or an ooey gooey sweet treat to eat, the sky is the limit when it comes to snacks.
Whether you munch on your favorite snack during your favorite television program or family movie night, a get-together with your favorite BFFs or during the big game, snacks are a delicious part of our lives. But like most things in life, moderation is key. While indulging in a little snack is fine from time-to-time, a healthy, nutritious diet and exercise is important.
Today is also National Grammar Day.
